Our alliance forges equitable business and economic opportunities for minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and LGBTQ+ businesses through customized programming, resources, and advocacy. MBA stands apart through our highly tailored approach, providing personalized business strategies and assessments that help leaders and organizations realize their full potential for growth. Serving Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties, we're committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion while providing practical support through technical assistance, advocacy, and community building.

A distinguished U.S. Army veteran with 16 years of service, Roberto Arnold brings valor and vision to his role as MBA's Founder and Chairman. His military honors, including the Bronze Star W/Valor and Purple Heart, reflect his commitment to excellence and service. Currently pursuing his master's at USC and serving as Co-Chair of Responsible Governance at LA Business Federation, Roberto founded MBA to create equitable opportunities for underserved entrepreneurs. His leadership has transformed MBA into a powerful force for business advocacy across Southern California's marginalized communities.

Diana Ordaz-Cherrington
President
Born and raised in the Inland Empire, Diana Ordaz-Cherrington leads MBA with a passionate commitment to community empowerment. As founder of Alpha Prime Health Solutions and owner of APHIS Medicare agency, she brings extensive healthcare industry expertise to her role. Currently pursuing her education at University of Cornell with an emphasize on Women’s Entrepreneurship, Diana serves as Advocacy Co-Chair at BizFed and leads MBA's EmpowerHER program, championing women entrepreneurs across Southern California. Her innovative approach to business development has earned recognition including the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as Rising Star Empresaria of the Year award 2024.

With over 13 years of diverse banking experience, Lizbeth DaBroy serves as a Business Access Advisor at U.S. Bank, where she is committed to empowering small business owners through personalized financial guidance and strategic support. Her extensive background spans roles as a teller, personal banker, and assistant branch
manager, and branch manager, each contributing to her deep understanding of client needs and her ability to build meaningful, trust-based relationships. In her current role, she focuses on streamlining access to capital and providing comprehensive financial management support to entrepreneurs. Her dedication to fostering economic empowerment is especially evident in her work with underserved communities, where she ensures business owners have access to the tools, resources, and connections needed for long-term success.

Brenda Quintana
Quintana-Saragosa Public Affairs
Brenda Quintana has more than 25 years of government, political and public relations expertise in California. Brenda has built a career working with senior officials throughout California at the federal, state, and local level. She is known as grassroots organizing expert, with an emphasis on the Latino community. Brenda uses her experience and key contacts to create a plan tailored to her clients’ specific needs. Prior to establishing Quintana-Saragosa Public Affairs, Brenda served as Senior Advisor to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger acting as his principal liaison to local government, labor, the Central Valley, and California’s Latino community.
Brenda joined the Schwarzenegger administration from the State Legislature after serving as Chief-of-Staff to two members and as a Principal Consultant to a third. Brenda has represented organized labor having worked for SEIU, UDW and AFCSME. As a labor representative she cultivated her grassroots organizing skills and created networks of community support she continues to partner with today. With over 25 years of experience, Brenda has worked as staff and as general consultant for Presidential, Gubernational, Legislative, and municipal candidates, as well as statewide ballot initiatives. She successfully managed voter registration drives, 527 committees and issue advocacy projects. Brenda’s diverse background, innate ability to create lasting relationships and knowledge of California politics are the foundation of QSPA’s approach to client success.
Growing up in one of California’s diverse Latino homes, Brenda was raised speaking both Spanish and English and serves her clients in both languages. Brenda serves on the boards of the Latin Business Association, Insure America Project, and Arts & Culture El Dorado. An accomplished professional, she has been honored as Woman of the Year by the Mexican American Opportunities Foundation, Advocate of the Year by the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and as Small Business of the Year by the Latin Business Association. Brenda studied Political Science at California State University, Fullerton. She lives in Placerville with her husband and business partner, Michael, and their rescue dog, Alafair Mae.
Ashley Cole
Ashley is a visionary entrepreneur who helps small businesses and entrepreneurs stand out by transforming ideas into actionable strategies for growth. With a background in psychology and finance from the University of La Verne, she spent a decade as a financial advisor before launching Business Success Services, where she specializes in creative consulting and business buddy support. As a leader serving on the boards of three nonprofits, Ashley is dedicated to fostering strong networks, empowering business owners, and driving lasting success.

Michael Mota is an entrepreneurial finance professional who serves as Vice President of Strategic Origination at Cebron Group and founder of Mota Trade Management LLC, where he provides alternative capital solutions to small businesses through partnerships with leading funding platforms. With extensive experience in banking, capital markets, M&A, and options trading, Michael is passionate about helping minority-owned and underserved businesses access the capital and strategies they need to grow. Currently pursuing his Series 65 license to expand into investment advisory services, Michael is honored to serve as an MBA Ambassador, supporting our mission to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion by bridging the capital gap for multicultural entrepreneurs.

As a first-generation college graduate and small business founder, he brings both lived experience and strategic insight to helping entrepreneurs access resources, navigate systems, and bring their visions to life. Alejandro is committed to uplifting underrepresented voices and building bridges between communities and opportunity through people-driven change and meaningful collaboration. When not supporting fellow entrepreneurs, he can be found hosting community events, mentoring young leaders, and exploring innovative ways to give back through culture, storytelling, and connection. As an MBA Ambassador, Alejandro supports our mission to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion by leveraging his passion for community empowerment to help multicultural businesses thrive.

Alejandro Barajas is a strategic healthcare executive with over a decade of demonstrated success driving growth, member engagement, and regional expansion across Southern California's healthcare sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Growth & Community Engagement at Blue Zones Health, he leads strategic market expansion initiatives that have resulted in accelerated membership acquisition and enhanced health plan visibility through comprehensive broker engagement and targeted community programs. His expertise spans the full spectrum of healthcare enrollment cycles, including AEP, OEP, and SEP strategy development, with proven success collaborating with providers and IPAs to drive network performance. Previously, Alejandro served four years as Community & Stakeholder Engagement Manager at Blue Shield of California, where he developed statewide engagement strategies that sustained membership growth and increased brand equity. Based in Fontana, California, he brings specialized knowledge in territory development, operational efficiency, and technology integration to his role as MBA Ambassador, where he supports our mission by generating leads, participating in strategic events, and expanding MBA's reach within minority and underserved business communities throughout Southern California.

Currently serving as Chief Development and Communications Officer for Radiant Health Centers, he leads strategic partnerships and fundraising initiatives to expand LGBTQ+ health services throughout Orange County. As Founder and CEO of Positive Alliances LLC, Edwin specializes in building transformative partnerships and high-impact campaigns that drive meaningful change. His extensive leadership experience includes senior roles at Latino Health Access, Western Dental, Molina Health Care, and Health Net of California. Deeply engaged with the Hispanic business community as Co-Chair of the Health and Wellness Committee at the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Edwin brings authentic relationship-building skills enhanced by his Neuro-Linguistic Programming training.
